“Center RITM” LLC., located at the Academic Campus in Novosibirsk, is a private technopark for IT companies, grown from the Center for Youth Research and Technical Creativity established by the Central Committee of Komsomol (Lenin Young Communist League). Thus, RITM has been going into innovation since 20 years already. Today, RITM provides accommodation for IT companies, invests into innovative SMEs development by implementing joint R&D in the framework of national programmes.

One of the products developed from R&D supported by the Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises (FASIE) is MODEM 3D – a software for three-dimensional electrotomography of oil, gas and ore deposits. Application of MODEM 3D to practical geophysical prospecting enhances its efficiency due to a high reliability of the obtained results.

In order to promote the software to new technological markets, Center RITM addressed Technopark “Novosibirsk” and placed a technology offer in the databases of Russian Technology Transfer Network and Enterprise Europe Network. An English consulting company Camelot Horizons Ltd expressed interest in this project and offered its customer-search service in the UK and European Union. After bilateral negotiations, the parties signed a partner agreement on joint promotion of MODEM 3D to European markets. The contribution of the English company to the partnership will be a market study and development of a product sales strategy.
Director of Center RITM Vladimir Kateshov expressed his satisfaction with the signed agreement and collaboration with Gate2RuBIN project in general. To his opinion, Gate2RuBIN provides a real assistance to innovators in establishing transnational technological and business partnerships.
