Bridge between environment and industry designed by membrane technology (MemBridge)

The goal of this project is to gain first hand knowledge of the state of the art in membrane science and technology and to make a step towards reaching an effective integration of European and Russian activities oriented primarily at environment protection and energy applications. This project should reinforce the strategic partnership in the field of membrane science & technology in the European enlarged area, from the Atlantic to the Ural. The main tools of the project are organization of meetings and conferences, visit of SMEs and technology knowledge exchange, education of young «membrane experts» and setting-up a joint platform (based on connected websites, information sharing).
Information Society Technologies to Open Knowledge for Eastern Europe and Central Asia (ISTOK-SOYUZ) 2009-2011 (7th Framework Programme)
The ISTOK-SOYUZ project, based on the sound outcomes and lessons learnt from ISTOK.Ru project, expands ISTOK experience to the Eastern Europe & Central Asia (EECA). The overall objective of the ISTOK-SOYUZ project is to explore new opportunities for ICT collaboration between EU and Eastern Europe and Central Asia countries and to foster the EU ICT programme awareness activities in order to increase the number of the international collaboration projects involving partners from EECA countries.

Networked embedded and control system technologies for Europe and Russia (NESTER)

Information Society Technologies to Open Knowledge. Russia (ISTOK-Ru)
2006 — 2008 (6th Framework Programme)
The aim of the project was to create EU-Russian ICT virtual community, to identify common needs and opportunities for strategic cooperation between European and Russian research in the ICT domain and to help the European Commission to link FP7 ICT calls to joint European-Russian ICT priorities.

British-Russian Innovation Network (BRIN)
2005 — 2008 (Foreign and Commonwealth Office of the Great Britain through the Global Opportunities Foundation) The BRIN project was aimed at promoting science and innovation collaboration with Russia for the benefit of the UK’s knowledge economy and to build S&I capacity to strengthen the global economy.
BRIN operated as a tool for building technological partnerships between UK and Russia. It associated 16 Russian organisations — members of RTTN, — and 13 partner organizations from UK Innovation Relay Centres. The activities were directed to identification of needs of local clients, technology offers and requests, profiles evaluation, UK/Russian partner searching, assisting in negotiations, etc.

EuropeAid project «Science and Technology Commercialisation»
2004 — 2006 (Europeaid programme of European Commission)
The overall project objective was to improve the conditions for development of science and technology innovation policies in the Russian Federation, particularly within the Russian Academy of Science, and to support commercialization of Russian S&T results at national and international market levels.
RTTN team carried out activities for supporting a pilot innovation infrastructure in Russian regions for the commercialization of S&T results. They included the development of organizational models, business plans, personnel recruitment and development plans. The staff of these centres was trained on TTT and commercialization issues in the framework of the project. RTTN helped to their clients in searching European partners and providing assistance to establish partnerships and cooperation. 12 practical «How-to-do» guides on different aspects of commercialisation of S&T results for commercialization centers were produced by RTTN consultants.

Franco-Russian Technology Network (RFR)
2003 — 2009 (Support from the Embassy of France in Moscow and Russian Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovation Enterprises)
The RFR is a special project for organization of international technology transfer between Russia and France. In the framework of the project, a long-lasting cooperation between 23 Russian and 5 French innovation centers and associations was established.
The RFR?s members support their regional SMEs, R&D institutions and Universities in identifying their needs, evaluating the technology requests and offers, searching French/Russian partners with a good potential for co-operation, following up their contacts, assisting in negotiations and visits, etc.
